It's the Hebrew word for man. This is the word used in Genesis Chapter 1 to describe the man that was made on the sixth day/age. Or, that yom is used to describe the word yo'wm for the first six days. yom is one day. yo'wm must be more because the sun, moon and stars were not made until the fourth day.
