There is a Judgement for those who follow Christ and a different Judgement for those who do not.
The Christian Judgement For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the "dead in 'Christ' will be the "first" to rise. 1st Thessalonians 4:16 Matthew 25:31-46 When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, (The Rapture: Matthew 24:31,32-Matthew 16:27-2nd Thessalonians 1:7-Jude 1:14) He will sit on His glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.(The Marriage Supper of the Lamb: Revelation 19:6... Within the New Jerusalem: Revelation 21) For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me.’ Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You something to drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? When did we see You sick or in prison and visit You?’ And the King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these "brothers" of Mine, (Matthew 12:48-50) you did for Me.’ (Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me Lord, Lord, will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in Heaven.) Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave Me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, I was naked and you did not clothe Me, I was sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’ And they too will reply, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ Then the King will answer, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for Me.’ And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” The White Throne Judgement Revelation 20:11-15 And I saw a great white throne and the one sitting on it. The earth and sky fled from his presence, but they found no place to hide. I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God’s throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books. The sea gave up its dead, and death and the grave gave up their dead. And all were judged according to their deeds. Then death and the grave were thrown into the lake of fire. This lake of fire is the second death. And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire. Hell is Tartarus and the Grave is Hades.

Almost everyone has heard or read that None are Righteous, No Not One. Romans 3:10 And, they might say, But we are saved and set free, and we obey God now and He blesses us according to our Righteousness. Well, yes and no. We are not blessed because of how righteous we are, rather, it is because we are the Lesser of Two Evils.
“Do not say in your heart, after the LORD your God has thrust them out before you, ‘It is because of my righteousness that the LORD has brought me in to possess this land,’ whereas it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD is driving them out before you. Not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart are you going in to possess their land, but because of the wickedness of these nations, the LORD your God is driving them out from before you, and that He may confirm the word that the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. “Know, therefore, that the LORD your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stubborn people. Remember and do not forget how you provoked the LORD your God to wrath in the wilderness. Deuteronomy 9:4-7 I think everyone can remember our own wilderness. Personally, I wanted to do what I wanted to do and it got me into trouble. Thank God for His Mercy and Grace that comes through His Son Jesus our Lord and Christ. |
