Jesus was not crucified on Passover. He ate the Passover meal on the First day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. He became a Blemished Passover Lamb Ending The Ritual Laws of sacrifices, Feasts and Sabbaths. It is Finished. ...on the "First" day of Unleavened Bread, when they "sacrificed" the Passover lamb, His disciples said to Him, “Where will you have us go and prepare for you to "eat" the Passover?” Mark 14:12 In Luke 22:14,15 it reads: When the hour had come, (Jesus) reclined at the table and the apostles with Him. And He said to them, “I have earnestly desired to "eat" this Passover with you before I suffer... Matthew is more specific about "when" Jesus said this in Chapter 26:20 When "evening came", Jesus was reclining at the table with the Twelve... This explains why the Passover Meal is: The Last "Supper". It was in the evening. The First of the Seven Days of Unleavened Bread, the same day that the Passover lamb was sacrificed. ...and when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. Then Jesus said to them, “You will all fall away because of Me "this night". Matthew 26:30, 31 Then the chief priests and the elders of the people gathered in the palace of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas, and plotted together in order to arrest Jesus by stealth and kill him. But they said, “Not during "the feast", lest there be an uproar among the people.” Matthew 26:3-5 Apparently they forgot the "Feast" is Seven Days. So, they let Jesus and His Disciples/Apostles partake in the Passover meal and then Jesus was betrayed, arrested, tortured and then crucified. The men who were holding Jesus began to mock Him and beat Him. They blindfolded Him and kept demanding, “Prophesy! Who hit You?” And they said many other blasphemous things against Him. Luke 22:54-65 Then, the whole council rose and led Jesus away to Pilate. Luke 23:1... Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” Galatians 3:13 Berean Study Bible God made Him who knew "no sin" (unleavened) to be sin (leaven) on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. Hebrews 7:26 The "Unleavened" Bread that came down from Heaven became Leaven/A Blemished Lamb, during the Feast of Unleavened Bread. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And this bread, which I will give for the life of the world, is My flesh.” John 6:51 Get rid of the old leaven, so that you may be a new unleavened batch, as you (should be). For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore, let us keep the feast but, Not with the Old bread, leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the Unleavened bread of sincerity and of truth. Ist Corinthians 5:7,8 The Pharisee's hearts were full of envy and hatred, desiring to kill Jesus. I guess thy didn't break the Law because God said to work six days and rest on the seventh. They were working really hard at getting Jesus arrested. Then they yelled for Him to be crucified after He was beaten and whipped during the "Feast". And, the next day was the Sabbath. I'm sorry but if Saturday is the Sabbath after they crucified my Lord on the sixth day, count me out. Besides... "I tell you that One Greater than the temple is here. If only you had known the meaning of, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent. For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.” Matthew 12:6,7 If the Lord of the Sabbath is in your heart, Everyday is a Sabbath "Rest". Be holy for God is holy. With God all things are possible. Thank you Almighty God and Father for your Love, Mercy and Grace that comes through Your Son Jesus our Lord and Christ. Amen. I believe that "revelation" is God opening our eyes to what is already written.
I can understand why some pastors say that not everyone is condemned to hell because they are part of a different religion. In Matthew 25:31-46 Jesus is on His Throne and He does Not say: "Did you confess Me as Lord? Did you believe in the Trinity or Oneness Doctrines? What religion are you part of? No. He said, Did you feed the hungry, cloth the naked, visit His brothers and sisters in the hospital or prison? The end of all things is near. Therefore, be clear-minded and sober, so that you can pray. Above all, love one another deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without complaining. 1st Peter 4:7-9 I met a man from a reservation who told me about the "missionaries" (Catholic) who would come and take advantage of the people. I didn't pry into how exactly that happened but, I said that Catholics are not Christians. We don't pray to angels or Mary, only to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. And, he said, "It's the same Jesus." So, the Jesus he saw was not of a good nature. For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but it is the doers of the law who will be declared righteous. Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law, since they show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts either accusing or defending them. This will come to pass on that day when God will judge men’s secrets through Christ Jesus, as proclaimed by the gospel. Romans 2:13-16 If the only representation of Jesus is the Catholic Crusaders who killed for the Pope, why would anyone want to follow that religion? The law we should recognize is not the Law of Rituals like animal sacrifices, circumcision and Sabbaths but, the Law of Love, Good Works. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life. Ephesians 2:10 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He is kind to the ungrateful and evil. Luke 6:35 Berean Literal Bible As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one. Romans 3:10 Psalm 14:1 In heaven, there are many books other than the Lambs Book of Life. They must be our individual records of our actions and words on earth. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne. And there were open books, and one of them was the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their "deeds", as recorded in the books. Revelation 20:12 “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to each one according to what he has" done". Revelation 22:12 |
